Paint Correction
We offer three levels of paint correction
Your car's paint takes a beating over time. Every wash, every wipe, every automated car wash leaves behind micro-scratches that dull your finish. Paint correction reverses that damage.
1-Stage Paint Correction
Single-step polish to remove light swirl marks and enhance gloss. Perfect for newer vehicles or well-maintained paint with minor imperfections.
What it removes:
- Light swirl marks
- Minor hazing and dullness
- Light water spots
Best for:
- Newer vehicles (1-3 years old)
- Well-maintained paint
- Pre-ceramic coating prep
2-Stage Paint Correction
Two-step process: heavy cutting to remove defects, followed by refining polish for a flawless finish. Ideal for moderately damaged paint.
What it removes:
- Moderate to heavy swirl marks
- Deeper scratches (that haven't penetrated the clear coat)
- Moderate oxidation
- Water spot etching
- Holograms and buffer trails
Best for:
- Older vehicles (3-7 years)
- Paint with visible swirls under sunlight
- Vehicles that have been through automated car washes regularly
3-Stage Paint Correction
Full multi-step correction for heavily damaged or neglected paint. Heavy compounding, intermediate polishing, and final jeweling polish for perfection.
What it removes:
- Heavy swirl marks and scratches
- Severe oxidation
- Deep water etching
- Paint transfer and scuffs
Best for:
- Heavily neglected paint
- Older vehicles (7+ years)
- Show cars and concours prep
- Paint that looks chalky, faded, or severely scratched
How we assess your paint
Not sure which stage you need? We'll inspect your paint and recommend the right level of correction.
Our assessment includes:
- Paint depth measurement (to ensure safe correction)
- Inspection under high-intensity lighting to reveal all defects
- Test spot to show what's achievable
- Honest recommendation based on condition and budget
We never oversell. If 1-stage gets you 90% of the way there, we'll tell you. If you need 3-stage for the results you want, we'll explain why.
You're always in control. We recommend, you decide.

FAQ
How long does paint correction take?
1-stage typically takes a full day. 2-stage takes 1–2 days. 3-stage can take 2–3 days or more depending on vehicle size and paint condition. We don't rush the process.
Will paint correction remove all scratches?
It removes 80–95% of defects within the clear coat. Deep scratches that reach the base coat or primer require touch-up paint or repainting.
What can't paint correction fix?
It won't repair rock chips, deep scratches through the paint, dents, or dings. Those require touch-up, PPF, or body work. We'll be upfront about what's achievable during your assessment.
Is paint correction safe for my car?
Yes, when done properly. We measure paint depth throughout the process to safely remove defects without compromising your clear coat.
How long do the results last?
Paint correction is permanent—the defects we remove are gone. New swirls can form over time, but proper washing and ceramic coating can keep your paint looking flawless for years.
